332. What Do You Want the Rest of This Year to Feel Like?

Join the Deciding Hour Priority Waitlist HERE!

As we look at the final 79 days of 2026, it's easy to focus on the things we want to finish, accomplish, or check off our lists. But what if there's something more important to consider than what you want to get done?

In this episode of Wednesday in the Wild, I'm sharing a simple journaling exercise that led me somewhere unexpected for me personally, to allowing, rather than resisting. Instead of fighting the circumstances, responsibilities, and experiences we don't want, we can learn to work with what is in front of us.

Because we're not just choosing what goes into the remainder of our year. We're also choosing how we want to experience it—and who we want to become along the way.

In this episode, you'll learn:

  • How to use a simple journaling exercise to decide what matters most in the rest of your year.

  • The difference between resisting an experience and allowing it.

  • How to pursue change without fighting your current circumstances.

  • Why the experience you want may matter more than the boxes you check.

  • How to recognize resistance and shift your perspective, find solutions, or approach a situation differently.

  • How personal growth now can shape not only your year-end experience but who you become in the year ahead.

In Short: You get to choose what belongs in the remainder of your year—and how you want to experience it. Don't just decide what you want to accomplish; decide how you want to grow and show up along the way.
